AMH 5K Walk/Run

5th Annual 5K Walk/Run for Anne-Marie House

Event Details
With homelessness in New Hampshire on the rise in recent years, walkers, runners and community members will come together on Sunday, September 16, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Nashua to fundraise and find a solution to the growing problem. All proceeds from the event, the 5th Annual Anne-Marie House 5K Walk/Run, will benefit Anne-Marie House.

Pre-registration is $20 per person and $25 on the day of the event. (Entry fees are non-refundable.) Day-of registration begins at 1:00PM in the First Baptist Church parking lot at 121 Manchester Street in Nashua.  Walkers will get a head start at 2:15PM and runners will depart at 3:00PM.

WMUR Channel New’s Amy Coveno will once again serve as Master of Ceremonies. Event highlights include medals for top finishers in each age group, t-shirts for the first 200 participants, music, light refreshments and more! The AMH 5K Walk/Run is a USATF certified course.

Matching Grant Opportunity for Participants 
Participants who choose to raise pledges for AMH can double their fundraising efforts through a special matching grant program, made possible for a generous outside donor. Any participant who raises $500 or more can choose to participate in the program and have a matching grant sent to a nonprofit of their choice (some restrictions apply). Red Nose Run for AMH — A Special Run Just for Kids!
In addition, Ringing Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will once again lead the “Red Nose Run for AMH,” a special event for children ages 3-9 years old! Participation is just $5 per child and includes ‘Circus Fit’ warm-up excercises with RBBB clowns, a FREE circus ticket and RBBB goodie bag! Stay tuned for online registration!

FUNdraise!
Walkers and runners alike are encouraged to  raise pledges to benefit Anne-Marie House. Raising pledges is  easy! Here’s an example of how YOU can easily raise $150 in pledges for Anne-Marie House:

  1. Ask five family members to pledge $20 each ($100)
  2. Ask four friends to pledge $10 each ($40)
  3. Ask two co-workers to pledge $5 each ($10)
    TOTAL: $150!

Sponsorship Opportunities Available
Receive exposure to 300+ event participants, volunteers and greater Nashua community members. Sponsorship levels start at as little as $250 and come with a multitude of marketing benefits and cross-marketing opportunities.
